Douglas J. Corbin, CSPG

Douglas J. Corbin, CSPG, is President of Paragon Charitable Services Group, Inc. Mr. Corbin has over 15 years of experience in the field of philanthropy, most notably serving as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Estate and Gift Planning at Pepperdine University from 1996-2002. Over the years, Doug has provided philanthropic consulting services to such notable charitable organizations as The Los Angeles Urban League; The California Science Center; The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels; and The Motion Picture & Television Fund, where he continues to help guide their planned giving efforts.

Doug holds a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving designation from the American Institute of Philanthropic Studies at Cal State Long Beach and has been a licensed life underwriter since 1985. In 2004 he authored the book “The Enlightened Advisor – The Life Underwriters Comprehensive Guide to Long-Term Success in the Charitable Marketplace” and is currently in the process of obtaining his Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Mr. Corbin is a past board member of the Planned Giving Round Table of Southern California (2004-2005), and was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Planned Giving Roundtable (2006-2007). He is an active member of the National Committee on Planned Giving and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). As a volunteer, Doug is Founder and President of Ryan’s Reach - The Ryan Corbin Foundation for Brain Injury - and is an active donor to Pepperdine University and Mercy Corps International, a world relief organization based in Seattle, Washington.

Doug and his wife Victoria have three children, Ryan, Jessica, and Alyssa, and reside in Dove Canyon, California.
