Michael T. Rodman, CFP

Michael T. Rodman, CFP, is a Partner with Paragon Charitable Services Group and President of Advanced Planning Services, Inc., headquartered in San Diego, California.

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame in 1983, Mike has been an agent, a general agent, and a brokerage general agent during the course of his career.  In 1989 he earned his CFP designation.  Mike has been a leading life insurance leader and producer for the past 21 years.

Mike is a three-time qualifier for Top of the Table, the Million Dollar Round Table’s highest honor, as well as the International Forum and the Association of Advanced Underwriters (AALU).  Mike is also past president of the San Diego chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), as well as being an active member of The Financial Planning Association (FPA), The Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP) and The National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA).

In 2002, Mike founded Advanced Planning Services, Inc. (APS) as “The Industry’s First Advanced Sales Brokerage General Agency.”  APS is one of the only organizations in the nation that has committed to the licensing requirements in every state for both life insurance and life settlements.  APS serves the needs of over 1,000 brokers, supporting and consulting on a host of advanced financial and estate planning techniques and strategies.

Mike and his wife Lisa reside in Rancho Santa Fe, California.
